Carline Durocher
Prior to joining MIT, Carline was the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary for ADA Forsyth, Inc., an NIH-funded research institute focused on oral health initiatives and technologies. As General Counsel, Carline developed and implemented strategies to mitigate legal and business risks and protected the organization against emerging threats, litigation, and regulatory changes. She also served as the Vice President for Technology Development for ADA Forsyth and launched a leading oral health innovation platform – Forsyth dentech.
Before that, Carline was a Senior Corporate Counsel for The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, a non-profit research and development organization that has a longstanding relationship with MIT. Carline led Draper’s commercial legal team, advising the CEO on strategic transactions and IP commercialization initiatives. She also advised Draper’s operation teams and commercial programs. Prior to going in-house, Carline spent nearly a decade as a corporate and securities associate at national law firms in Boston and served as a technology research analyst at AMR Research.
Carline graduated from Dartmouth College and holds a JD from Boston College Law School.
